AlaEnergies is a Tanzanian downstream petroleum company. We supply fuels, liquefied petroleum gas and lubricants to the trade, and we store, fill and move product for the companies that sell it on - through Tanzania and across the border.

What we supply
Three product families, supplied in bulk to importers, oil marketing companies and wholesalers, and in the quantities households and small businesses actually buy.
LPG
Liquefied petroleum gas in cylinders and in bulk, for households, restaurants, hotels and industry. Faster than charcoal, far better for indoor air, and the direction the country is moving in.
Lubricants
Engine oils, transmission and hydraulic fluids and greases for passenger vehicles, heavy transport, generators and industrial plant, matched to the duty and to the conditions they run in.
Our services
What we do
Most of our work is business to business: supplying, storing, filling and moving product for the companies that sell it on. A downstream operation is judged on whether the product turns up, in full, when it was promised.
Wholesale and B2B supply
Contract supply to oil marketing companies, wholesalers, dealers, transport fleets, mining and construction operations, and industrial users running boilers and generators. Agreed volumes, scheduled deliveries and one point of contact.
Storage and hosting
Bulk storage and terminalling for fuels and LPG, including hospitality agreements for companies that need registered storage capacity without owning a terminal. Your stock stays yours; we receive it, hold it and release it on your instruction.
LPG cylinder filling
Filling, weighing, sealing and valve inspection for cylinders, for our own trade and for brands that need filling capacity. A cylinder that is under-filled or unsafe does not leave the plant.
Distribution and haulage
Road tanker delivery of bulk fuel and LPG, and cylinder distribution, run on our own fleet and planned around delivery windows a customer can build a schedule on.
Cross-border supply
Transit volumes moving inland through Dar es Salaam to the neighbouring markets. Border documentation is where these loads are won or lost, so we treat the paperwork as part of the delivery rather than an afterthought.
Retail service stations
Forecourts run on fuel quality, honest volumes and sites that are clean, lit and open when they say they are, together with supply and branding arrangements for independent dealers.

Health, safety and quality
In this business, the details are the safety case
Petroleum is unforgiving of shortcuts. We work to the standards set by Tanzania's energy regulator and by the environmental, occupational safety and fire authorities, and we plan sites, deliveries and training around them rather than around them being inspected.
Quality and quantity are checked and recorded. Product is tested against specification, meters are calibrated, stock is reconciled daily, and there is a documented trail from receipt through to the customer's tank.
